Our Story
Our story starts in 1972 as small store. Nature’s Cornucopia successfully grew to serve the community of McHenry.
In 1999 Anne Worth became the owner, which was a dream come true! To this day 2023 Anne has owned the store for 24 years.
Anne began her journey into health foods after a illness left the doctors to say “you will never get better.” She changed her life, diet, everything but her faith. And she did regain her health! The journey led Anne to work in health foods stores and with functional medicine doctors as a nutrition consultant.
We are a family run business with second generation staffers Tony and Tina and Ivy. They all have a love to help people find healthy alternatives.

Our Team

Anne
Nutrition Consultant, and Owner
After working as a restaurant and cafeteria manager in 1982 with Marriott for 8 years, Anne decided to take charge of her health and walk her talk. She wanted to open her own health food store and decided to learn more by managing The Fruitful Yield store in Schaumburg for 8 years.
Anne also worked with a chiropractor part-time and learned Chinese medicine, acupuncture, and massage therapy.
As a result of her training and education at the National Institute of Nutritional Education (NINE), she then accepted a position as a nutrition consultant with Dr. Mercola in Schaumburg, IL, who specialized in integrative holistic medicine. The opportunity to purchase Nature’s Cornucopia came in 1999.
This was a dream come true!
Working on studying and practicing Pilates specifically on a Reformer and hopes to become an Instructor.
